IBA Karachi conducted a faculty workshop on the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Tool

May 20, 2026: The School of Mathematics & Computer Science (SMCS), IBA Karachi conducted a faculty workshop on the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Tool, led by Wareesha Ayub - Data Analyst OBE - Dean's Office SMCS.

The session introduced the initial analytical capabilities of the developing OBE platform and explored how PLO attainment analysis, educational analytics, and evidence-based interpretation can support faculty in identifying attainment gaps, understanding underlying causes, and informing Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).

The workshop also included a demonstration of emerging analytical approaches within IBA’s evolving OBE ecosystem, encouraging discussion around moving beyond reporting toward meaningful interpretation and intervention.

The session was marked by active faculty engagement and discussion on strengthening outcome-based education practices through analytics-driven insight.
