SMCS Organizes FYP Guidance Session for Final Year BSCS Students

September 04, 2024: School of Mathematics & Computer Science (SMCS), IBA Karachi, hosted a key session for Final Year BSCS students with the Final Year Project Committee comprising faculty members from the CS Department: Assistant Professors, Dr. Salman Zafar, Dr. Tahir Syed and Dr. Faisal Iradat and Lecturers Mr. Behraj Khan, Ms. Maria Rahim and Ms. Samreen Kazi.

Dr. Tahir began by detailing the significance of the final year project, including its processes and best practices. Dr. Zafar then introduced Objective-Based Education, explaining how this approach is integrated into the school’s framework to enhance project outcomes with clear, measurable goals.

The session concluded with a lively networking opportunity, where students engaged directly with committee members to clarify their queries and gain tailored advice.
