IBA Karachi Hosts Insightful Session on 'The Future of Job Markets'

April 14, 2025: School of Mathematics & Computer Science (IBA-SMCS) organized an engaging session titled 'The Future of Job Markets' . The session featured Mr. Abu Bakar, CEO, Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), who shared valuable insights into the evolving dynamics of the global job market.

In his address, Mr. Abu Bakar highlighted the critical importance of pursuing multiple IT certifications to stay relevant in the fast-paced technology sector. He also emphasized the growing role of soft skills—such as communication, adaptability, and leadership—in complementing technical expertise for career advancement.

Dean IBA-SMCS, Dr. Shakeel A. Khoja, delivered the vote of thanks and echoed Mr. Abu Bakar's insights. He encouraged students to make use of global learning platforms like Coursera and Google Certifications to build future-ready skillsets. Dr. Khoja further stressed the importance of cultivating ambition and working toward meeting global standards.
